In attendance of the RIBA Summer Social, the practice gained insight into various professional perspectives on architecture and heritage. With talks from Purcell, Bristol City Council, as well as a guided tour of Grade II* Listed St George’s by Ben Neil, from the Chair of Trustee’s. Weekly Blog – 27

My first week at Angel Architecture was a very busy one, but the collaborative nature of the office environment made the work both manageable and rewarding. Angel Blog – Week 19

This week has seen a new commission in Merriott, another phase of a project in Sydling St Nicholas, and two submissions for planning permission and listed building consent to Dorset Council for sites in West Lulworth and Holditch. Together with ongoing repair work in Frome, we have plenty of variety in the Practice.

Angel Blog – Week 15

Great progress has been made since Easter with three confirmed commissions in as many days, and over the next week we shall be resourcing projects as far afield as Wellington and West Lulworth. At the end of last week, we obtained planning permission for a private dwelling in Ottery St Mary Conservation Area. On Tuesday 6 April, TA Green Builders started work on site in Frome with excavation for a land drain at the base of a listed townhouse, a project that will involve both repair and modest alterations using traditional construction methods.
