After much discussion and considering all the options we have decided to close the Angel Architecture order book until January 2022.
This is something we would rather avoid but such is the volume of work at the moment, both for existing clients who have already appointed us and those in the pipeline, waiting for an initial inspection, we only want to provide the best possible service in a reasonable timescale. These clients will know that, firstly the planning system is overloaded and secondly, the availability of resources to build out schemes is becoming a huge problem combined with the increase in cost of raw materials.
We are advised that the cost of timber has doubled and that all appliances are delayed coming into the country.
The most we can ask is for your patience as we are doing our best but it is manic at the moment in the building industry. We are dealing with all our projects in strict chronological order. If you need an urgent answer we will try and help and can always direct you to our colleagues in Dorset, Devon and Somerset, since we collaborate with several other RIBA Chartered Practices.
