Beerland Farm was listed Grade II in 1984.
The brief was to convert a redundant cider barn into a self contained holiday unit and another corner barn into a second studio apartment.
Beerland is a typical C17 house which has been extended twice in length and raised in height. The original C17 trusses survive in the roof space. The house was once joined to the garage barn to the west and this connection is to be reinstated with a contemporary garden room link giving views to the south and west towards open countryside towards Whitchurch Canonicorum.
Approval was granted in February 2020 for listed building consent and planning permission.
