Hurlingpot Farm

The Grade II farmhouse was listed in 1988 and the brief was to undertake a heritage assessment in advance of the clients moving in.  The owner was a director of Boon Brown Architects and he sought a comfortable family home with land that he and his young family could enjoy with a large kitchen and sun room.  Justification was required to form openings internally and to install new services, bathrooms and thermal improvements to metal windows and roof space.    

Also included is Sutton Poyntz, another community project – for the parish who wanted to draw up a list of important local buildings – non-designated heritage assets.
