Hursey Farm

Hursey Farm is a Grade II building listed in 1984, it has a C17 core and have been extended twice at least in the C18 and C19.

The brief was to convert the existing garage and implement store (dated 1988) into a family room, utility room and wet room with a glass link to the ‘cottage’ and separate new garage on the site of an earlier garage which is adjacent to a stable and potting shed. The design was based on the historic linear alignment of extensions, arranged north south, with materials to match the existing Welsh slate and double Roman clay tiles and roofs of the main house and later outbuildings.

The applications for planning permission and listed building consent have been subject to negotiations with the local authority and an approval is anticipated in February
