News Update for April

I am delighted to have received such warm and positive feedback from one of my UWE RIBA 2020 students who I’ve been mentoring.

Thank you so much for an invaluable experience gained through your mentoring. Your professional manner, the interesting and various site visits, the individuals we got the chance to meet and the opportunity to get an insight into the life of a busy architect made the experience truly unforgettable and valuable to us all.

Receiving this hands on experience – although it was only two days – taught us much more about Grade II Listed buildings, conservation and planning, than we were taught sitting in lectures.

Flexibility with the schedule, constant effective communication and the fact that we could ask anything at any time, made us really comfortable and we were sure that we were in good hands! Thank you for your kindness and all the work and energy you put in. We couldn’t have asked for a better mentor!

Best wishes,

Klaudia Kery, UWE RIBA Architecture student

In light of the current Coronavirus crisis, we would like to assure our clients, both current and prospective, that the nature of our business remains roughly unaffected and we are operating as normal. We can still produce information and applications for both planning permission and listed building consent. We can also prepare appeals and provide advice. Site visits are not possible at the current time, but we can conduct much of the onsite work via video call, which we will set up and guide our clients through when necessary.
