Angel Architecture obtained planning permission for this unlisted building in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for the construction of a single storey kitchen extension and canopy from the front entrance to the north west facing terrace. The works are due to be carried out by Charmouth based Crosby Builders this summer. Angel Architecture have been retained to submit an application for Building Regulations approval. Four final year UWE students of Architecture & Planning are being mentored by Angel Architecture and were shown works in progress on the scaffolding at Lyme Regis seafront. The works have been carried out with listed building consent to replace sash windows with laminated glass and new lead flat roofs with cast iron rainwater goods by local joiners JWJ and Rowsell Roofing.
