Great news this week, we can look forward to a visit from the Planning Inspector to determine an appeal on one of two sites in Sherborne, 10 weeks from submission, a lot quicker than it took Dorset Council to determine the first of two applications – 6 months. It has taken a great deal of hard work by Peter Child and Miranda Martineau to get to this point so I am keen to hear the outcome, it is for more communal space in a residential care home, which until now has only had an unheated log cabin in the garden. Not ideal for meeting loved ones and friends after such a long absence of social activity but our purpose designed garden room would accommodate the residents and their guests in comfort with an uninterrupted view of the beautiful west facing walled garden
