A colleague and I are submitting an application to carry out a feasibility study of the Grade II* Literary and Scientific Institute in Bridport which is bidding for Heritage Lottery Funding to become part of Bridport Museum.
This is a wonderful opportunity to not only safeguard the future of a building which has always been problematic due to the changing demands for office space post Covid but also to showcase the magnificent collection of artefacts that have hitherto been in storage either at The Grove or in Gundry Lane. The interviews take place on 12 & 13 February. Wish us luck!
