The most uplifting image of the week is a Grade I listed building, Bridport Town Hall, a building I have worked on twice over the years.

This wonderful iconic building with its clock tower under a domed lantern was designed by William Tyler Architect, also responsible for the now redundant Dorchester prison.

Previously the use of the arcaded ground floor was the public lavatories prior to their relocation to new facilities at South Street. These were replaced by the tourist information office and a lift giving access to disabled visitors to the Council Chamber.
