Countdown to the adoption of the new Local Plan following the public consultations generating huge opposition to new housing allocations on the edge of our towns. This in an opportunity for the local people to have their say on shaping their community. Surely the Council should factor in the number of vacant houses and brownfield sites before even considering new housing estates of unsustainable ‘anywhere architecture’.
