I have been recommended by a client in East Devon who I worked for in 2021 to another owner of a Grade II listed farmhouse. A beautiful unspoilt thatched mediaeval house with stone mullion windows and all the traits of an early hall house but is it? The mystery lies in the roof space which I have yet to investigate. Last time I was in a roof space quite as special I fell through the ceiling. Note to self, do not go into roof spaces in East Devon houses!
