‘Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.’ Nelson Mandela said this about learning and Tim Marlowe OBE echoed this message in his address at Kingston University yesterday to the 4000 odd students graduating.
They are the first cohort to graduate under the Future Skills programme playing a key role in shaping the skills agenda in the UK. This means that these young people with degrees in Product Design, Architecture and Interior Design are better equipped to find work in businesses because they are resilient, good at problem solving, critical thinking and understand the impact of emerging technologies in the work place.
