April News

This month’s projects include submissions for two in Dorset in Stalbridge and Netherbury, and two in East Devon in Kilmington and Sidbury. We are lucky to have submitted one project into Dorset (in Loders) for listed building consent just before the announcement of the resignation of the long-standing conservation officer who historically dealt with all our applications for North and West Dorset. Two new clients in Lyme Regis and Osmington.

Weekly Blog – 9

The opportunity to start another two exciting projects this week, one in East Devon and the other West Dorset, both farmhouses and both heated entirely by wood-burning stoves. The first is an extension to a mediaeval house and the other regularisation of works to a 1738 building of two halves.  The challenge is how to install a new kitchen into a 5 bedroom house which has many reception rooms but hardly any service rooms apart from 90’s extensions. Weekly Blog – 27

My first week at Angel Architecture was a very busy one, but the collaborative nature of the office environment made the work both manageable and rewarding. Angel Blog – Week 17

It is almost the end of the month and we have achieved many deadlines and acquired a new intern, Martha Titcombe who will join us officially on 28 June for eight weeks.  Welcome to Martha or should I say Croeso? Two more applications for listed building consent have been submitted to East Devon, one by us and the other by our partner in Camarthen, Rural Office for Architecture which has been a rewarding experience.
