What a surprise to see snow in Dorset on Thursday which grounded most people and caused such havoc on the roads. Not since November 2017 has there been this much snow.

My site visit to East Coker was curtailed as I couldn’t get past the snow covered summit of the White Sheet Hill (ironically named) outside Beaminster.

The countryside looked beautiful and, with the schools closed, children took to toboggans. On this snow day it was work as usual in the office with the preparation of a Building Regulations package.

One project of internal alterations started on site last Monday and is progressing well. Another project of external works is nearing completion next Friday with a final inspection before the scaffold is struck.
