This week I received some positive feedback from my clients; “V loves her new house. You really did a fantastic job for us on the design, it’s looking so at home in the landscape”. I have always been happy to get any type of feedback. How often do we receive good news? Not often enough!
With regard to detail design, I spotted this beautiful cobbled floor in a Grade II listed bothy which is made entirely of pebbles from Charmouth beach. This site is a considerable distance inland and it would have taken many trips by horse and cart to get them here. Now that is what I call attention to detail and an imaginative use of local materials although, now it would be illegal!
