Having been tempted out of my comfort zone, I am off to Exmoor to advise on the condition of a charming C15 museum on the North coast of Somerset.
This, together with other potential projects, demonstrates there is definitely no shortage of work for architects who have a specialism. Although Somerset is not strictly ‘my territory’ it is very flattering to be consulted about a Grade II* house even if it is just a fact finding exercise at this stage of seeking funding for a building wholly in community use.
